About

Hello and Welcome to my About Page.

I have attended Lincoln Lutheran for six years, going on seven. During my time at this school, I have participated in multiple activities. Including dance team, drama, speech, and choir. My senior year has blessed me with one team captain nomination for speech, a co-captain position for the Dance Team, and a lead in the Musical, “You’re a good man, Charlie Brown”. Not to mention the opportunity to grow closer with our all girl choir this year, (cause women get things done, am I right?). All four of these teams and programs have become almost like family over the years and I have those involved with me to thank. I have expressed my love for theatrical arts and music throughout the years and hope to continue this passion in the many years to come. Many of my best memories at Lincoln Lutheran have involved these activities, they are – and always will be – a joy to my heart.

Side Note: I did not choose the twin life, the twin life chose me. I could not be more thankful for that, my sister is quite fantastic.

I am simply a midwestern girl with southern roots, although I plan on continuing my education next fall at Concordia University; with the hopes furthering my knowledge in education, pre-law, or theatre. (I know, totally different ends of the spectrum).

I hope you are able to see my further development as a writer, reader, and student. I would like to see my work have an impact on whoever may stumble upon this site. As a seventeen year old, I hold strong ambitions for myself. I have always been excited about sharing my work with others to read – this is important to me. Writing has become an opportunity to shed light on the darkest of places, expose the hard cold truth, dive into the unknown, and even continue to analyze literature (one of my favorites).

So please, enjoy the pages which call for your time and analytical minds.

If you happen to pass my by on the street you’d most likely hear me humming the “La La Land” soundtrack, “Don’t Stop Beliving” by journey or anything Classic Rock – (courtesy of my father).

Please feel free to comment your thoughts or ask questions, I’d be happy to answer them!

A note to all the grammar nazis…

I am aware I need improvement, thus grammar being one of my many goals for this year throughout my senior year of education. Please feel free to comment on my pieces where you see grammatical or sentence structural errors.

Thank you and enjoy 🙂
